Interim IPAC Recommendations for using Personal Protective Equipment for Care of Individuals with Suspect or Confirmed COVID‑19

Public Health Ontario has issued Interim IPAC Recommendations for using Personal Protective Equipment for Care of Individuals with Suspect or Confirmed COVID‑19. This guidance is intended to inform recommended and appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements for the care of patients with suspected or confirmed COVID-19.

2021 PREP Summary

The Prescribed Regulatory Education Program (PREP) is one of the College’s annual Quality Assurance requirements. The PREP for 2021 was on the topic of Ethics and Professionalism and closed in October. At the close of the 2021 PREP on Ethics and Professionalism, 3342 registrants provided feedback.

There will be three seats up for election in District 1, which includes: Toronto, the counties of Haliburton, Northumberland, Peterborough, Simcoe and Kawartha Lakes, and the regions of Durham, Peel and York.

Ontario Expanding Booster Eligibility of COVID-19 Vaccines

Starting November 6, 2021, the Government of Ontario expanded eligibility for booster doses of the COVID-19 vaccine to additional groups of high-risk individuals.

Eligible individuals can book their booster dose appointment through the COVID-19 vaccination portal or by calling the Provincial Vaccine Contact Centre.
