The Board of Directors sets the strategy for the College and makes decisions to ensure the public receives ethical, competent care from Ontario’s occupational therapists.
Involvement on the Board provides registrants and members of the public with rewarding opportunities to contribute to both public protection and the future of the occupational therapy profession.
District 3
Voting in the District 3 by-election opens Tuesday, February 20, 2024.
Registrants who are eligible to vote in District 3 will receive an electronic ballot to the email on file with the College.
We look forward to announcing the results
in March and thank you in advance for your participation.
Please note: In March 2023, COTO reduced the electoral districts from six to three. This redistribution ensures geographical diversity and creates a more equal number of occupational therapists in each district.
- District 1 is composed of Toronto and Mississauga.
- District 2 is composed of the west part of Ontario and northwest to Thunder Bay.
- District 3 is composed of the areas east of Toronto to Ottawa and northeast.
Your district may have changed. Review the descriptions of each district to see if your area is up for election.
