The College of Physiotherapists of Ontario has partnered with Future Ancestors and
other regulatory health colleges for a workshop series to explore
equity, diversity and inclusion in the workplace and within the
therapeutic relationship.
This two-part workshop series will hold space for participants to
build their capacity in critically articulating their worldviews and the
consequential relationships with work and self. As this self-reflective
practice becomes naturalized, participants have the opportunity to more
effectively and ethically contribute to fostering anti-racist work
places and relationships.
Key concepts explored in the workshop series include worldview,
intersectionality, identity, (micro)aggressions, bias, and critical
self-reflection.
These virtual sessions are free to attend. Please
attend the scheduled sessions live to best engage in dialogue and
self-reflection. Archived versions of the sessions will not be available.
Session 1: Thursday, September 15 from 12:30 to 2 p.m.
Session 2: Thursday, September 29 from 12:30 to 2 p.m.
Please note: the two sessions are not the same. Participants are encouraged to attend both sessions.
