Help prevent and control the spread of COVID-19
Ontario's Ministry of Health is looking for experienced health care providers, like occupational therapists, to help provincial efforts to prevent and control the spread of COVID-19.
We are reaching out to occupational therapists who have recently retired or changed to inactive status with the College.
Interested current and former regulatory health profession registrants are being asked to consider helping prevent and control the spread of COVID-19.
If you are interested, please complete the government's online COVID-19 Health Care Provider Recruitment form:
The form allows you to select a preferred sector of the health care system to work in. You can also select your preferred hours and which region of the province you would like to work.
You will be contacted directly by the Ministry of Health if you are selected. They will provide further direction and necessary training. The College is not involved in selecting and deploying health professionals.
If College registration is required, please contact us at
[email protected].
We will issue a temporary registration without fees.
We thank you and appreciate the dedication of all of Ontario's regulated health professionals, especially during this time. The people of Ontario have shown remarkable strength as we continue to work together to respond to COVID-19.
Reminder to visit the Ministry of Health's COVID-19 Guidance for the Health Sector web page for more information.
