The revised
Standards for Infection Prevention and Control are now available.
Infection prevention and control plays a critical role in the health and safety of everyone involved including health care providers, clients, their families and the community. The purpose of these Standards is to ensure occupational therapists in Ontario are aware of the minimum expectations for infection prevention and control within their practice.
The Standards for Infection Prevention and Control replace the Standards for Infection Control, 2006.
