Thank you to everyone who completed their 2016-17 Professional Development Plans by the January 18, 2017 deadline.
- All Quality Assurance (QA) tools (Professional Development Plans, Self-Assessment Tools, PREP modules) in the Practice Development Portal are now locked and read-only.
- You may access the Practice Development Portal to review, download and print your QA tools until May 31, 2017. Please note you are not required to download or print your tools. Information to confirm QA compliance will be archived and accessible to the College.
What if I did not complete my tools by the January 18, 2017 deadline?
- Any tools that were not marked “complete” by the deadline will be marked closed
- If you are identified to participate in a QA review process in the future, your record, including the status of your QA tools, will be reviewed. If you did not complete your tools, please keep a record of your rationale as this information may be requested by the College. Consideration of the system transition and revised deadlines will be given to 2016-17 tool completion.

A move to the new system means that tools from the previous years will not be accessible to you after May 31, 2017. The necessary information to confirm QA compliance will be archived and accessible to the College.
If you would like to retain a copy of your tools (optional) you can download or print them prior to May 31, 2017. Simply follow the steps below:
- Log in to the Practice Development Portal.
- Select or review a specific QA tool.
- Click on "Print". This will download a copy that you can print or save. Download or print a copy prior to May 31, 2017.
