Record Keeping Checklist & Review Tool Available

The College’s Standards for Record Keeping have been updated to address OT questions and reflect current practice. As an OT you are accountable to know, understand and apply all requirements of the College’s Standards for Record Keeping.

These revised standards, which came into effect February 1, 2016 and are now available for download in our A-Z Resources page.

The College has also revised the Record Keeping Checklist, intended to support OTs by providing a record keeping quick reference, with a focus on administration.

Along with the checklist, the College has also created a Record Keeping Review Tool to assist OTs with assessing the content of your clinical records.

The Record Keeping Checklist and Record Keeping Review Tool should be used in conjunction with the Standards for Record Keeping to ensure performance expectations are met.
