In preparation for the regulation of applied behaviour analysis (ABA), the College of Psychologists of Ontario (CPO) worked collaboratively with the:
- College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario (COTO),
- College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO),
- College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO),
- College of Early Childhood Educators (ECE), and
- Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW).
The regulators formed a working group to develop joint communication for registrants who use ABA in their practice, and who may be affected by the decision to create a protected title for ABA practitioners.
