The Ontario government has extended orders currently in force under the Reopening Ontario (A Flexible Response to COVID-19) Act, 2020 (ROA) to January 20, 2021. This legislation allows the government to extend the orders made under the Emergency Management and Civil Protection Act a month at a time up to one year, unless further extended by the Ontario legislature. The new extension will support safe delivery of health care and other critical services until COVID-19 vaccines are approved and widely available.
