Annual Report 2019-2020
The College’s 2019 Annual Report was accepted by Council and is now available online and in PDF format in French and English. The report highlights the work of the College to protect the public and summarizes outcomes of the final year of its 2017-2020 strategic plan.

Truth and Reconciliation Education
Guests Lindsay DuPré and Dallas Fiddler provided a reflective and engaging presentation on Indigenous history and health. Their insights, information and recommendations for College initiatives were inspiring.

Bylaw Amendments
Council approved circulation of proposed bylaw amendments that implement changes to College governance. Improving governance aims to strengthen the College’s protection of the public and enhance public confidence in the regulatory system. The consultation on the proposed amendments will be shared with all registrants and stakeholders and posted on the College website later this month.

Code of Ethics
Following review of consultation feedback, the Code of Ethics was approved. The revised Code of Ethics includes diversity, equity, and inclusion to align with the updated College values. The 2012 Guide to the Code of Ethics is under review and remains in effect at this time.

Standards for Assessments
Following review of consultation feedback, the Standards for Assessments (formerly the Standards for Occupational Therapy Assessments) were approved. The Standards will be released later this fall. Until the release, the 2013 Standards for Occupational Therapy Assessments remain in effect.
